Spring2: Greene

Spring starts with April guaranteeing herself a career in Science. Good girl!


Meanwhile, May is painting pretty pictures that seem quite appropriate for this family.


And Wistar is getting the garden ready for when the snow melts.


I wanted Storm to get his restaurant ASAP, so I sent the quads out digging. During this I had that song from Pocahontas stuck in my head. You know the one where they're digging for gold. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then enjoy. :)


Wistar was the first to find a treasure chest!


Then as the snow melted, River found TWO! Right after I took this picture he found the second one. River rules!


One night of digging got Storm all the money he needed to purchase his restaurant and the first business in Daisy Plains!


It was more expensive than I'd liked it to be, but I wanted it to be cute and fully functional.


I had the guys rotate jobs throughout their time there, but River's first job was greeting customers and making sure they check out the menu, and possibly find a love interest. First to stroll in was Genesis Jennings.


They have negative attraction, but at least she gave us the first very star. :)


Then Storm was on customer duty, and decided to flirt with Johnny Daniels.


He also had to help out as a waiter since the place was getting crowded, and Johnny tipped him, probably for being cute. ;)


For the first day or so the business level kept bouncing up and down, because I had the menu options backwards. Everything they could cook was off the menu, and most things on the menu couldn't be cooked. I fixed that but it started happening again because of outdoor townie fights, which the Evil Warlock seems to be enjoying.


Wistar asked Vernon to leave, but Angela Rowell got to stay...


THREE BOLTS! He was able to retrieve some of those stars that were lost with a date. :D


Plantsims are great at running a business. They only need to stop once a day for a shower and some love. Forrest got his first kiss with Norene on his "love break."


Storm met Sandie Bickford and forgot all about Johnny. He and Sandie have two bolts, while he only had one with Johnny.


Awkward first kiss...


That was the star that got Greene Cuisine up to level 5! But there were still 2 days left in the season, so they stayed open.


I'm so glad there's adult witches in this town. I usually only get elders.


Norene doesn't even work here, but she's a big help keeping the lot nice and tidy.


At the end of the 5 days, Greene Cuisine made it to Level 7! Hopefully I can get it to 10 next season.


Back at home, Wistar was getting his first kiss with Angela. Another movie reference: When I paused, the first thing to pop into my head was "What the heck is up with their hands?!" Then my next thought was Talledega Nights when Ricky Bobby was getting interviewed and didn't know what to do with his hands. Don't know what I'm talking about? Enjoy! :D


Bud grew up! He's Popularity/Grilled Cheese and wants to become a general! That will totally happen for him!


Thanks Norene! That'll definitely help her and Forrest decorate their home.


Storm was lucky and got into the Culinary career right away. He's slowly but surely moving up!


Rosalee got her gold fishing badge (I missed the doodad) AND got into Oceanography the same day. She didn't actually start work until Friday though, which was the stopping point for the Season, so she'll start in Summer.


Birthday time for the twins!


June. I was sad to have to change her hair. :(


August. :)


Forrest, River, and Wistar all got their gold fishing badge! I'm not going to have them look for the job just yet though. I wanna get Storm's business out of the way first.


Bud met the very lovely Genie Goebel one day after school. I was hoping they had good chemistry, but it's only one bolt.


But she likes grilled cheese! :)


I sent River to greet that walkby from the previous picture in hopes they had some chemistry, but she's gay. Meanwhile, ACR took over and gave Bud his first kiss. :D


It was a nice day, so Forrest and Wistar taught the twins how to do homework amongst the butterflies.


Then the older twins grew up under the tree.


April: Popularity/Fortune- Become Mayor
Sorry sweetie, but I don't think that's going to happen. I'd have to really speed things along to get politics open.


May: Romance/Family- Become Celebrity Chef
Will definitely happen once Storm unlocks the career. :)


It was the night before the last day of Spring, so I had Forrest propose to Norene.


River is a bit lonely, so I sent him to the Nature park to see if a nice townie lady would show up...nope, just two of his brothers and his step-mom. River seriously has negative chemistry with every woman, poor guy,


It's after 6pm on the last day of Spring, so Norene moved in. She's Knowledge/Family and wants to be a Mad Scientist. Maybe if Sims start getting electrocuted it'll happen.


Then early in the morning before it officially became Summer, Norene and Forrest moved out to start a home together. August was the only to rush outside even though he was in bed. I think it was because Forrest went to tuck him in while waiting for the taxi.
